Welcome to My Self & Time Management Blog!

Updated: Jul 24, 2022

I have a lot of thoughts, tips and advice, and I want to share it all with you.

I have always been keen on organizing. As a child, I remember organizing my thoughts in the evening because I noticed I slept better with an empty mind. I organized everything around me: my wardrobe, my activities, my relationships and all the plants in the house - I was extreme even for a Virgo.

Before the world shut down in 2020, I was constantly asked how I have the time for long hours at work, meeting friends for dinner 3-4 times a week, hiking, travelling, maintaining a wonderful decade-long marriage and constantly taking on new interests. For me this was normal and I never thought much of it. Then the pandemic hit and home office proved to be a struggle for so many people.

The lack of a daily routine, the mental toll of isolation and uncertainty, blurred boundaries and increased distractions made working from home very difficult for a lot of people. Thanks to a life-long routine of organizing my mind, focus and energy, I was thriving in this new normal. I started helping my friends get better control of their unique challenges and I began to notice some patterns emerging. As a test run, I then offered to coach a selection of strangers just to make sure that my methods work... and they did.

Starting GVR Coaching

My clients' struggles made me realize how important our relationship with time is. After all, time is the only resource we can never get more of and we don't get a do-over either. It became clear to me that I was able to help people improve their relationship with time and this translated into an instant improvement of their enjoyment of life. By understanding what was important to them, I could help them focus their energy and attention on the things that really mattered. That made them happier, more confident and feeling in control. Their experience changed from being someone that life happens to (often in an unpleasant/unfair way) to someone that creates the life they want. Facilitating this transformation is one of the most rewarding, amazing feelings and the reason why becoming a coach made perfect sense.

In addition to my full-time career in Data Analytics and being a new mom, I love helping people improve their relationship with time and with themselves. I find that an unorganized mind and focus tend to be easily overwhelmed by the vast sea of options and opportunities modern life has to offer. This means we either want to do it all and find ourselves on the brink of burnout, dissatisfied and frustrated, OR we become apathetic and unable to follow through with anything.

My programs help people navigate this labyrinth of schedules, to-dos, thoughts, feelings and actions. They are empowered to take back control of their focus and time and create a life they love. They make more room for what makes them happy while being more efficient in their daily schedules and to-dos. I teach them how to plan smart and follow through with their goals so that they can achieve all the amazing things they want.
